EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy approach designed to help individuals process and heal from distressing or overwhelming life experiences. When difficult experiences remain “stuck” in the nervous system, they can continue to affect emotions, thoughts, relationships, and daily functioning long after the event has passed. EMDR helps the brain reprocess these experiences so they no longer feel as emotionally intense or disruptive.
EMDR may help with:
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Anxiety and panic
  • Childhood wounds or attachment-related experiences
  • Grief and loss
  • Relationship trauma
  • Stressful or overwhelming life events
  • Low self-esteem or negative self-beliefs
  • Emotional triggers and nervous system dysregulation
  • Performance or confidence concerns
